Brad is enjoying going back to work at the genealogy company and we are just being patient as we wait for a job with the FAA. Brad finished all the schooling that he needed in California, all 27 credits, with a 4.00 GPA. It could take a year to 18 months before he starts his career in Air Traffic Control so we are just going back to life as we knew it before California as we wait.
Levi has grown into such a big boy. He amazes us everyday by the things he understands or how well he can communicate. It is so enjoyable watching him play by himself and see all the thoughts that go through his head as he tries to build towers with random objects, takes utensils out of one drawer and put them in another, or when he throws toys in a box and then climbs in after them and just sits in his box and plays quietly. I like to use this blog as a journal for myself so I can look back on it and remember what Levi was like at each stage, so this is for me:
WORDS THAT HE SAYS AND UNDERSTANDS THERE MEANING
- Cheese
- Juice
- Dog
- Dad
- "Uh-oh" (sometimes its just "uh, uh, uh..." with no "oh")
WORDS HE UNDERSTANDS AND WILL POINT TO IF WE SAY THEM
- Mom (sometimes, not enough for my liking)
- Shoes
- Socks
- Nose
THINGS HE WILL SIGN AND DO TO COMMUNICATE
- Banana
- More
- All Done (sometimes)
- Drink
- Eat
- Cracker
He also folds his arms to pray and then says a mumbled noise when we say "amen" (It is so cute!)
Some random left over pictures from California
Messy boy!
"Cool Dude!!" This was his hair before we gave him his SECOND hair cut! If he was a girl, I would be doing pony tails by now! He has had so much hair.
In Island Park snowmobiling. Levi wasn't to excited about it all, it sort of scared him.

Abby, Bethany, and Levi decorating the tree at the cabin.
Big cheesy grin!! He is good at those.
We caught Levi and Spencer jumping on the air mattress together. It is cute to see those boys get into things together.
At home after Christmas we got Levi all dressed up and built a snowman in our front yard. Levi was a little timid at first like he was in Island Park, but soon enough he was running all over the place without a fear in the world.
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!
