Painting Party and New Video Camera

Our house is getting so close to being done, it is getting really exciting. (I know, I know, we have been saying that since like January!) One of the last big things that we needed to do was paint all of the baseboard and trim upstairs. We were in such a rush to move in that we put the baseboard and trim up without painting it and then moved all the furniture in so we never got around to painting it all white. We have learned the hard way that it is tons better to paint the trim before you put it on the wall, so that is what we have been doing with the baseboard and trim in the basement.

It was a lot of work to move all the furniture, tape everything off, and paint it all. Brad spent the whole day in the backyard spraying all the doors with a power paint sprayer. We couldn't have done it without the help of Brad's mom and sister!!! It was so kind of them to spend their entire Saturday working at our house, they were so incredibly helpful!

We had just received the wonderful video camera from Dad and wanted to use it so we took a little video of the "painting party" with Nora and Jerica. We are so happy with the camera, it has great quality, works wonderfully, and is so tiny. And Brad is happy that it is HD. THANKS DAD, YOU'RE THE BEST!! We promise to keep up our end of the deal and share many videos of our little baby once he comes. It is such a great way to focus on the family and preserve these precious moments forever. I know I love watching home videos from our childhood, and I know my kids will cherish it also!
I would like to personaly thank Jerica for being our "painting model!"
