The one tree that I was somewhat anxious to see gone was a crab-apple tree. It dropped little berry things all over our patio on the side of our house and make a huge mess to clean up all summer long. And then if anyone steps on the berries they get dragged into the home as well.
The other tree they took down was a pine tree that Brad has wanted gone ever since we moved in. Right after they cut the pine tree down, our backyard neighbors, which are in our ward, came over and told Brad how thankful they were that he took that tree down. They said that ever since they moved into their house in 1959, they have asked the owners of our house to get rid of that tree. They said that after 50 years of having those pine needles wreck havoc on their yard and garden, they were thrilled to finally see it leave.
