Crafty Time

I guess the "crafty bug" got me after I made those Easter eggs or something, because I decided to do a couple more crafty projects.
First, I made a curtain for Levi's bedroom. The fabric has like trucks and cars all over it. I thought it turned out pretty nice and it just took me one evening to complete both these sewing projects.

With the same blue fabric from the bottom of the curtains I also made a table runner thing for my mom's cedar chest that I put in Levi's room. I wanted to have something on top of it so things wouldn't be set up there and scratch it. And I also wanted to show that it isn't something you open often. It didn't turn out as imagined because I didn't have very much fabric, but it will do the job.

The Young Women in our ward have a auction for a fundraiser every year where people from the ward bring things to auction off to the other members of the ward, and all the proceeds go to the Young Women. We wanted to participate this year by bringing something so we decided to make vinyl signs. We are going to bring these first two to auction off, I am curious to see what they go for.

Melanie recently got some vinyl from us and she was using this saying from Dr. Seuss and we decided to make one for ourselves while we were at it. I still need to hang it up in Levi's room. Melanie also request a very cute "I am a Child of God" vinyl saying that we cut out some extra ones of. Since we have already designed all of these sayings, if any one would like to buy one it would be way easy to cut out another one of the same thing. This "I am a Child of God" saying is already cut out and taped, ready to place where ever you want. With any of these you could make your own sign or just put it right on the wall. Just let me know if you want any. We can also make custom saying with whatever you want. Just leave a comment if you have any questions.
