Happy Easter!!!

Happy Easter Everyone!! What a wonderful day of celebration of Jesus Christ our Savior. I am so glad that Easter is always on a Sunday, it helps remind everyone what we are really celebrating and to keep our thoughts on Christ. Here in Utah, it is a beautiful Easter day with sunshine and warm weather, it is just perfect.

Levi received a wonderful Easter present from Grandma Debbie and has really enjoyed his bunny! THANKS!

Oh, just too cute!

Our ward had an Easter breakfast on Saturday and the flyer said for families to decorate eggs and bring them to display at the breakfast and awards would be given. We still feel like we are the new people in the ward, so I thought it would be nice for us to be really involved in all the activities, so I decided Brad and I would decorate some wonderful eggs to bring. Well, we show up to the breakfast and we are the ONLY family that brought eggs (not counting the family of the activities director). So I felt pretty stupid that we went to so much work, but hey, we won first prize! Our beautifully decorated eggs were farm animal eggs with pigs, a sheep, and a cow (though some may call it a dog. Hey, I tried.) Brad and I still had a wonderful time being creative and crafty together to create these animals, so I guess it was worth it.
