Boating at the Cabin and 4th of July!

WARNING: I discovered that I have a TON of pictures that I wanted to share, so you are going to have to bear with me. But there are just so many cute and fun experiences that I couldn't edit out any more pictures. :)

For the week of 4th of July, we went to Island Park with Melanie and Kenneth's family. It was such a nice vacation up there, so relaxing and just plain enjoyable.

Bethany is trying to teach Levi "I'm a Little Tea Pot." We heard that song over and over and over again because that doll of Bethany's plays that song.
One night we roasted hot dogs over the fire for dinner and in order to keep us hands free, we brought a playpen down to put the babies in. They didn't last very long in there, but it was a nice try.
Nice posing Melanie and Kenneth!

Brad and Levi roasting a marshmallow.
We also enjoyed paddle boat rides out in the lake. So beautiful and calm. I could spend my whole life up in Island Park.
The next day my dad and Debbie came up to the cabin and they took us out boating. The weather was iffy, but it turned out to be a pretty nice day for boating.

Here Brad is riding the tube.

Levi, Grandpa, and then I am the one wake boarding. It felt so good to get back up on a wake board, it had been three years since I had gone. I was very rusty but it was so exhilarating.

Levi just having fun on the boat.

We then went down to Idaho Falls to enjoy the 4th of July. During the day we had a wonderful picnic at my dad's house and had a great time.

Melanie is playing "ring-around-the-rosy" with the two girls.

Levi watching the girls play.

The beautiful view out the back of my childhood home, you'll never have a better backyard than this. I cherish it more and more each time I go home.
Several people had a good game of Crockett going until it started raining. (Again, nice posing Melanie)
The most exciting news of the week was the birth of Gwenith JoAnne Reed. (I hope I spelled that right.) She was born on July 2 and is such a cutie. Look how good Christi looks, man, she's amazing!

Lets not forget the reason for this celebration - patriotism for this great nation!

We missed you Kurtis and Jolene and hope all is going well with your new home.
