Santa Monica Pier

Last Saturday we took a quick drive through Hollywood (which we will return to later for a fun-filled day) and ended up at the Santa Monica Pier. For anybody that might not know, the pier is a very popular tourist destination and features a small amusement park and other random vendors of food, entertainment, and trinkets. It was a very enjoyable and just relaxing evening strolling along the pier together as a family. Levi always does so well when we are seeing new sights.

It was more chilly there then expected since where we lived it had been so hot. I guess that is what the ocean does for you, cools everything down. I felt bad that I wasn't more prepared for Levi. I just happened to have that blanket in the car. We decided to take a ride in the ferris wheel. It was a lot of fun to see the views of the beach and ocean from so high up in the air.

Before we finished the night and headed to our car, we took a little break and watched the waves roll in on the sand. The boys look pretty mesmerized.
