Happy 1st Birthday Levi!!!

Since we have no family around where we live, we decided to drive up to Northern California and spend Levi's first birthday with Brad's Grandma and Grandpa Kentner. It was a really nice trip and so good to see the grandparents again, that was the first time they had ever seen Levi. Some of Brad's aunts and uncles also came over and we had a nice little birthday party with a lot of people willing to "ooh" and "aah" over Levi as he was the star of the show. It was very nice of everyone. Levi had a really hard time sleeping there, it was a battle at every nap time. So we didn't really get to finish decorating the cake because we were dealing with an hysterical child not going to sleep. So the cake is suppose to be building blocks but we only had time to do the tops of the blocks. It still turned out decent.
Surprisingly, Levi didn't like the cake at all. He usually eats anything we put on his tray so we thought he was going to down the cake, but he just would spit it out. He had some fun playing in the frosting though.

The "hysterical child" that I mentioned before never did go to sleep, so during his birthday party he was pretty drowsy and out of it. This was the face I got in all the rest of the pictures. But I was happy he wasn't cranky at least.

All in all it was a good birthday. I still can't believe he is one year old!! But it has been absolutely the best year of my life!! I can't wait for many many more birthdays!!
