I have a lot of blogging to catch up on!! I was going to break up the events in December into different posts, but then decided to just put it all together, so beware - this is a long one!!
At the beginning of the month we decorated our house and put up our Christmas tree that we had cut down in Island Park. Last year in December we were finishing up our time in California so we didn't have a tree or any decorations in our apartment. So it was really nice to pull out the decorations after two years of storage and to have a tree again. It is so great to feel festive all month long!!

Singing "Jingle Bells" for us

Levi loved putting up an ornament on our felt tree everyday of December.

A couple days before Christmas we celebrated with Brad's entire family since some of them weren't going to be there on Christmas day.

Now
that is an excited face!!!!

The FHE chart we made for Kyle and Alyssa and their family.

I kept Brad busy this year helping me make presents with his vinyl machine. Some of the other gifts we made were:
"Be Attitudes" blocks
and a menu dry erase board.
And then on Christmas morning, we finished up with the presents we were giving to each other and to Levi.
Among other things, Brad got an airplane book - wahoo, so exciting. ;) Just kidding, he really was excited, he asked specifically for it.
Brad saw this cowboy hat at Kid to Kid and just couldn't resist buying it, Levi loves hats.
It was a great Christmas day spent with family!!
A couple days later, Levi wasn't done opening up presents though. These building blocks were a present from his Grandma and Grandpa Reed but I don't have a picture of him opening it because he sneakily opened them when I was in the shower. We were waiting till the next weekend to be with my family for him to open this present, but he just couldn't wait any longer to find out what was inside. (No he did not build this tower, that was Brad's work)
Finally on New Years weekend we went up to Idaho Falls and spent the time with my entire family. It is so nice when we are able to all be together!
The kids waiting somewhat patiently for their presents.

Cute little side-ways glance to his dad.
Melanie also planned a "Minute to Win It" game that we all participated in, we had a lot of fun and laughter!! Who knew we were so talented! :)

Dear Levi and Janae and Brad,
Spencer and I love looking at all the pictures you have! Thanks for putting them on. It's hard not being close by. Spencer is wanting to play ball with Levi and says he can't wait to visit.
