About 5 more weeks and we will have a new little addition to our family. It has been so nice that this pregnancy has seemed to go by pretty fast with very little to complain about, I know I am very lucky!! We are starting to prepare our home for our new little boy by pulling out all the baby clothes and paraphernalia. Wow, babies need a lot of stuff!!! But it has been fun to have it seem more real now. Levi is amazed by all the bouncers, swings, car seats, clothes, and toys that we have been getting out. I kind of think he actually understands what is going on and how we are going to have a baby in our family. Several of his little friends from church have recently had new baby siblings, so I think that has helped.
I finally got around to finishing a project I have wanted to do ever since I found out I was pregnant. I made myself a car seat cover canopy!! I love these things! I made one last year for my sister-in-law and I am glad I will have one for myself. I'm a little worried that it's not "boyish" enough since the blue is a very "pretty" blue and it's all flowery. Oops!! I also made it a little too big, it kind of drags on the floor. Man, sewing is a lot more difficult then it looks. It's not that it's exactly difficult to do, it's just difficult to make things perfect. :)
We are anxiously awaiting the big day but realize that we still have a little ways to go. We are trying to cherish each day before our life gets turned upside down, especially with Levi. It's going to be so different once he is not the center our attention any longer, but we will all make it work. He is going to be a great big brother!

That looks beautiful! The first year that your baby is in that he won't really seem like a man, so a flowery beautiful blue is perfect for a sweet little baby boy.
Seeing Levi in that car seat brings back memories of Evelyn doing that. I think it's a good idea to get all that stuff out early so the older siblings can play with and get bored with them before new baby comes.
Five weeks! We're excited!
Wow Janae! I love the car seat cover! That fabric is beautiful! You did amazing job! I can't believe that you have only 33 days left!! I am glad that you have felt good. I miss you guys and wish that we could be there to help you with that new sweet baby! (And to take some pictures of course!!) Let us know when the big day arrives!
Any name yet?
It looks GREAT! I really really like it.
Janae told me that if BYU gets to the Final Four, the baby will be named JIMMER! Go BYU!
You sure did a great job on this! It's great that you are feeling so well while being pregnant!!! I love the fabric...and I tend not to believe Brad on the Jimmer name, maybe you could verify? We miss you all so much! Can't wait to meet "Jimmer" this summer!!!!
