Jared Reed Jackman was born on April 19th at 4:31 am. Weighing 7lbs 15oz and 21 inches long.
It was quite the exciting night! Brad and I only had 1 hour of sleep before the pain became too miserable to sleep. We thought that we had some time to slowly get ready before we really needed to head to the hospital, but as we were waiting for Grandpa Jackman to come be with Levi, we realized that things were moving quickly and we needed to get to the hospital. Then a loud hail storm started that woke Levi up, so we just packed him into the car and headed to meet Grandpa Jackman en route to the hospital. Once we did the Levi hand-off in the pouring ran on the side of the road, we rushed to the hospital. It was almost humorous how cliche I felt by how I was acting with each contraction as we headed into the hospital. Then only an hour and a half later we held our little boy in our arms - everything happened so fast. The actual delivery was a very special experience - just calm and peaceful (after I got my epidural of course.)

He's just over a week old now, and things are going pretty good. We are just getting use to splitting our time between our two little boys. Levi loves his little brother and is trying to be patient with me being tied up with Jared a lot of the time. But we couldn't be happier to see our family grow and to meet our newest little member. We are excited to discover all the new things he is going to add to our family.

Yeah for baby Jared! Sorry you had to retell me everything earlier. I should have checked the blog yesterday!! Thanks for the phone call. It was nice to catch up a little. I can't wait to hold Jared! SPencer is so excited to give Levi a hug and meet Jared! He told me that earlier today:)Jared looks so precious! I love his hair and eyes:) I'm glad you got to have everything go so smoothly and quick!

Congratulations! That is so exciting! He is a cutie and looks like such a sweetheart! I am glad to hear everything went well and he seems like a good baby!
