Think happy thoughts

Levi has a hard time calming down enough to go to sleep. So we have been trying to teach him that sometimes you need to just be patient and lay quietly for a while before sleep will finally come. One way that we have been doing this is telling him to lay still with his eyes closed and think happy thoughts. All we said was "think happy thoughts," and he filled in what he thought that was: "Jesus, Grandma and Grandpa, Mom, Dad, camping." With smiles on our faces we told him that is right, those are good happy thoughts and then we left the room. As we stood at his door we could hear him saying over and over again quietly to himself, "Jesus, Grandma and Grandpa, Mom, Dad, camping."
We love that boy.

Note: Levi is going camping tonight with his Dad and Grandpa Jackman and he has been so excited all week. We shall see how it goes with all the rain. Glad I'm not going. :)

Camping is a happy thought for AJ too.
