Our life now . . .

We are slowly getting used to life with two kids. It is amazing how natural it actually feels to have another baby. At two weeks old, Jared has been a great baby so far, a lot better sleeper than Levi was at this point. He normally only wakes up twice (sometimes three times) during the night and then just goes right back to sleep, so I can't complain too much. He is pretty calm and laid back. Levi though, is having a tough time with the new way of life. I am tied up with feeding Jared a lot and Levi is feeling a little jealous and acts out more than usual. But we are figuring out how to deal with it all. Overall though, Levi is great with Jared. He really seems to love him and that is the sweetest thing in the world to witness.

Some things we have been up to since Jared was born:

Easter weekend we went over to Jackmans and decorated Easter eggs, Levi wasn't so thrilled about not being able to do it all himself, Mr. Independent! :)

The wire whisk method works pretty good for little kids - just move the bars apart to insert and remove egg.

Levi also enjoyed an Easter egg hunt for just himself.

Two weeks old

Levi loves to help his dad work in the backyard. He always follows behind Brad as he mows the lawn. Here he is following behind the rototiller.
