Jared Two Months Old

I am enjoying having this sweet little boy as part of our family!! It is so much easier having a newborn when you have already been a mom. Not that it is easier with two kids, but the newborn by himself is easier than the first time around. It might also help that Jared seems to have an easy going personality. He is really good at going to sleep for his naps: nap time comes, I go lay him down, and then he just falls asleep on his own, AMAZING!! (Levi did not do that at this age.) He still wakes up two times at night though and I am working on that. He has made it only waking up once several times in the last two weeks, so there is progress. I love it that he has started to smile and react to us, especially Levi, he is definitely Jared's favorite, of course!

Levi also really loves him. The other day Levi was watching Barney and Jared was sitting in his bouncer in the same room. Brad and I were not in the room and Levi decided that he wanted Jared to sit on the couch and watch Barney with him. So he tried to pick him up and dropped Jared right on the floor. Oh it was so sad how hard Jared was crying, I don't think he was hurt, just really scared. We really will need to keep an eye on those boys, I think for a long time coming. : )
