Another Year

Levi just turned 3 yesterday!! Crazy how time flies, yet at the same time I can barely remember life before this sweet boy was in my life. Some things about Levi:
  • Loves to play pretend - "Hurry, get up on the couch, water is coming!!" Except this morning it was "Shut the door, poop is coming into the kitchen!" Wasn't a fan of that one.
  • Could be outside all day long!
  • Loves to ride his bike
  • Very inquisitive - "what is that?," "why? why? why? why?," "what does that mean?"
  • Adores his baby brother and loves to make him smile
  • Enjoys water painting, cutting with scissors, and coloring
  • Independent - "no, my do it."
  • Is pretty much potty trained!!! He has been doing very well these last couple of weeks. I'm so proud of him.
  • Loves to sing songs
  • Loves to rough house with his dad
  • Enjoys helping mom cook in the kitchen and always has to have his own pot to cook things in - yesterday he was "cooking" grasshoppers. (the things he comes up with)
  • Has really gotten into Dora lately - I had no idea he would like it so much!
  • Has now begun the terrible three's (I've heard they are worst then the terrible two's, any thoughts on the subject?) Boy does he have an attitude!
  • Always makes us laugh and is the highlight of every day!
I sure do love that boy!Jared just turned 5 months old today! These pictures were taken about a month ago though. He is a very smiley boy! Loves to watch his older brother bounce around and play. Can turn over both ways and is starting to work on sitting up by himself. I never know how to answer when people ask if he is a good sleeper. He has always gone to sleep really easily for naps and bedtime and after eating during the nights. Never had his days and nights mixed up either so I thought he was going to be a great sleeper all around, but he still wakes up to eat at night! I don't know how to get that to stop. He is old enough now that he doesn't need that! Oh well. One thing I have learned as a parent is nothing will last forever, we'll figure it out eventually. :)

I love having two kids. It is such a joy to watch them interact and to feel more like a family. It is such a great thing!

what cute pics! I love those 2! Spence does the same pretend things, but says "a giant monkey or giant spider is coming, quick get on the couch...!" 3 is fun usually! We will get his present sooner or later. I still am unable to go to the store and Kyle doesn't have much time. Seriously, we can't find our envelopes so we make them occasionally, maybe I'll do that. Give those boys a hug from us! See you next week-ish
