I'm shy. I know, it's not an excuse, and it's something I am constantly working on, it's just an explanation. We are very happy to be where we are, but it is tough moving away from somewhere that you finally feel comfortable, to being the newbie again. I know it just takes time, and I am positive I will make friends here and everything will be wonderful, it's just hard getting to that point. One thing that has surprised me with moving to 2 different places, is how Levi is starting to get a little shy and aware of uncomfortable things. He has always been very social and never had problems jumping right into nursery when he was new or anything like that. But in Oklahoma he kept saying he didn't like Primary (which was a new thing in itself) because he didn't know anybody's name. Then one sunday we asked him if he was excited to go to Primary to be with his friends, and he said "no, my friends live far away in Utah." Awww. And then again, here in Idaho, he cried his first day in primary because he didn't know "anybody's name." But he is resilient and it still doesn't take him long to warm up. So he is doing just fine now. It was just interesting to see social situations affecting a little 3 year old.
The day we moved from Utah, a friend of ours dropped off a photo album for us. Levi found it the other day and was excitedly looking at all the pictures of his "friends." So I scanned a few to put on our computer.

And my friends.
