The 2 boys and I just got back from a great vacation visiting my family. We left Brad at home to give him time to work on another genealogy book he is writing, without the constant distraction and interruptions that come with having a wife and 2 crazy boys.
We had a great time canoeing and fishing at the cabin.
We then enjoyed time hanging out with cousins in Idaho Falls. It is so nice that there is so much family to see when we come home.
What I didn't get a picture of is what happened after we took a long walk away from our cars to enjoy a picnic. As we were eating, a huge rain storm fell upon us. It was raining hard and the wind was blowing making us all get soaking wet and cold so we had to make a run for a public bathroom where we hid waiting for it to calm down. It was definitely an adventure and the kids kept a pretty good attitude through it all. A lot of fun memories were made with cousins.
