Memorial Weekend

We went up to Island Park for Memorial Weekend and we had a blast!!! On the drive home, Brad told me that was one of his funnest times at the cabin. We were kept busy with so many different activities to do. It was the Reed reunion so we had meals, games, and activities with them. It is always nice to catch up with cousins and family.
We also went on a lot of four-wheeler rides and really enjoyed ourselves with those. Even Levi, who was terribly afraid of the snowmobiles, loved the rides!! (even though it doesn't look like it in the picture.)

As you can see from the pictures, it was very cold up there!! We had to be completely bundled up, especially on Saturday when it SNOWED!!! Levi also enjoyed his quick boat ride.

We also went fishing on Saturday and Monday. I caught 2 fish on Saturday and that is always exciting!!! Nothing happened for me on Monday with the fish though. But that is okay, I enjoyed just relaxing on the boat and taking in the scenery. It was absolutely gorgeous out on the lake early Monday morning with the sun finally shining. I wished I would have had my camera to capture it.

I am just so glad that I am going to be able to take my kids up to Island Park to experience the same things I was able to do as a child. It is just the most perfect, relaxing, fun, exciting, family-bonding, beautiful place in world. Thanks Dad, I know we are going to spend many memorable weekends up there with family.
