10 Months Old

Levi has been 10 months old for a couple of weeks already and it is time for his monthly update. He just continues to grow and become more capable of doing things. He is getting a little personality and is great at throwing tantrums when I take things away from him that he shouldn't have - which seems like my entire day :) But it all makes it worth it when they are happy and smile up at you.
Levi has been acting bored lately with the usual routine around our house so I am trying to think of unique things to do with him. A little bit ago I tossed all the couch cushions and pillows onto the floor and let him crawl all over them. He enjoyed something new and it was good practice for him to get up and down ledges.

The last couple of weeks he has finally gotten the hang of finger food. I think he looks like a little rabbit in this picture. The piece of food was stuck to his upper gum and he just let it hang there.
He has also discovered how to open cupboards and drawers. It doesn't bother me too bad because it entertains him for a while. He favorite place is the Lazy-Susan with all the pots in there.

We are getting ready to move (in two weeks from today!! YIKES!!) so Brad brought home a bunch of boxes from work and it created a wonderful play area for Levi to explore in.

One nice thing that is new for Levi is that he is starting to cuddle more with us. He never wanted to cuddle or be held close to us when he was younger, but now he likes to just sit back and lean into us. It is such a nice feeling.

Our lives are pretty crazy right now and are going to stay that way until we move to California. We are excited for a break from all of Brad's responsibilities here. We know he is going to be very busy with school but it still will give us more time together then we have been getting lately. Right now, Brad has his full-time job, flight time, study and book work for his pilots licence, just finished an online class, clients of his own that he works on after his regular work, and being the Young Mens president. It has been a little crazy. But I am proud of him and all he can take on and handle. We are very sad to leave our house but it helps knowing that we will return to it in 4 months. Well, my next post will probably be explaining our new life in Cali!!
