Our Apartment

I am going to take you all on a photo tour of our new apartment in West Covina, California.

This is in front of our apartment looking down the walkway.

This is in front of our apartment looking the other way up the walkway. Our parking spot is so far away from our actual apartment. We walk all the way up this walkway as much as you can see, then past another building of apartments and then you reach the parking lot and we are pretty much parked kiddie-corner across the parking lot from where you walk out at. I'll just have to make sure Brad is home to help me carry in groceries when I go shopping. :)

The area we live in is very hilly, so there are a lot of steps and slopes around the grounds of our apartment complex. If you continue down the first walkway and go down a couple flights of steps you then get this view of the tennis court and swimming pool. (And wonderful palm trees, which I love to see!)

And now for the inside. This is the kitchen and dining area looking from the living room.

If you notice in the place of a fridge we have a cooler. The apartments don't provide refrigerators, so sou have to rent a fridge. Well, ours was suppose to come last week, but they didn't have one to bring us so they bumped our delivering till Tuesday and are giving us a free month. So yes, I have been living without a fridge or freezer for 4 days. It has been interesting to say the least. Let's hope they actually come today.

We have a fireplace in our main room (which I'm not really sure why anybody here needs that.) Brad's desk legs broke in the trailer moving here so he had to make some makeshift legs.

You can see Levi just walking around in this picture. He is getting really good at being a walker. It just seemed to hit him the day we were moving. And ever since then he really likes walking around.

We have a little patio area off our main room. And if you will all notice the couch to your left, we got it absolutely FREE. Yup, we found it on Craigslist for free. It is a pretty nice couch, we are very happy with it.

This is the bedroom.

My kitchen cabinet space is so small that I am using the bedroom area for some food storage shelves.

And yes, we are horrible parents, Levi is sleeping in the closet. We always keep the door mostly opened with a fan blowing in there so he will have good air circulation.

Bathroom sink area, the bathroom and walk-in-closet are both on the right.
