Day at the Beach

Brad doesn't have any classes on Friday (which is wonderful!!) so we decided to head to the beach. We took a drive down to Laguna Beach then headed up the Pacific Coast Highway looking for the perfect beach to stop at. We found one at Newport beach that turned out to be perfect. I liked how there were so many families and kids there. You didn't see the weirdos that you can often find at popular beaches or the "hotties" and "studs" trying to strut there stuff. It was just some good family fun.
Levi did so great at the beach!! I was really worried about having to "corral" him all the time and making him mad by not letting him get into stuff, or the ocean, that he wasn't suppose to be in. But he was just pretty timid and just sat by us and watched the waves and the people. As we were there longer, he started to get a little more brave and walk around some. But he is so slow and the sand was hard to walk in, so he never got far.
Brad and I really enjoyed swimming in the waves of the ocean. We just took turns going out by ourselves, but it was still way fun.

(There is a setting on my camera for "bright beach scene" that I used on some of these pictures and they all turned out the worst!!! That is why the color isn't very good on this picture. It made me so made. So here is a warning, don't use "bright beach scene" setting on your camera! )

Isn't his smile so cute in this picture? You can see some of his top teeth that are working there way in.
