An Evening at the Beach

When Brad got home from his first day of school he suggested we drive down to the beach. Why not, we had nothing else to do. So we got in our car and 45 minutes later we had arrived at Sunset Beach. But...we were just a little too late for the sunset, we caught the tail end of it.

When we lived in northern California we went to the beach a couple of times but it just wasn't the "beach experience" that is always imagined. Well, this beach that we went to last night was the real thing: Nice soft sand with sea shells all over, water that is alot warmer then the water was up north, and "surfer dudes" on the waves even though it was dark outside. When I put my feet in the water, I was pleasantly surprised that my feet weren't freezing. I'm excited to go there sometime during the day and take a swim in the ocean. We will see how Levi will handle a day at the beach.

We were playing around with different settings on the camera and this one showed the water and waves very well, but it makes the people look wierd.

What a happy family!!

I'm wishing we could come visit! That's the kind of Cali I think of. I hope you get a fridge soon! Living that way would be interesting...Your new place looks really nice and sunny! It's much bigger than I had imagined, even though I really had no idea what it would look like. I love how SUNNY it is:) I wish Levi and Spence could be walking buddies, but soon enough. Levi is really catching on quick, good luck keeping up with him. We need to send you a package for his bday...along with that ball (which Spence enjoys almost daily)
